My PLN Community?

I spend a great deal of time collaborating with other educators face-to-face, in Professional Development events, emails, webinars, and grants writing opportunities (progressive grants and others). I enjoy reading articles on new ways to engage Diverse Learning students. They appear to adapt to social media well. Now we just need responsible use of social media.
Since reconnecting with my Google+ account, I realize that there are so many other ways to get students to engage in social media appropriately.
I've receive regular emails from Edmodo, Engage Learning, jen@jenbengel.com ( a teacher that provide free and low cost Literacy webinars) Image and various other responsible individuals of my learning community. I do enjoy what learning from others. I do use Pintrest a lot for everything. I love it. These are samples from Pintrest. it's a wonderful website.

    1. I've chosen Pinterest for my PLN because it covers everything you want to know about anything. As I read their terms of service agreement, it states "if you can't find what you are looking for on their site, you can request the information and they will try their best to obtain it". I have yet to look for something on their site and not find what I was looking for. I use Pinterest for Literacy, Mathematics, Social Science, and Science anchor charts, DIY projects, cooking, baking, traveling and hair ideas. Pinterest helped me find Jen for the free Literacy webinars and workbooks. She is awesome. It saves me from leaving my home. I can participate in the Professional Development in my pajamas. Also, I receive certificates for the Professional Developments. I usually use Pinterest at least once a day for a recipe or other ideas. Through Pinterest, I have been able to connect with many people who share my interest. I choose who I follow on the site. It's an awesome website. I encourage others to use it.
